•  Diversified luxury brand in regional expansion plans

 
Montblanc CEO, Lutz Bethge will visit Dubai on November 12^th as part of a five-day visit of the region to announce the diversified luxury brand’s expansion plans in the Gulf.
 
“Our CEO’s visit is timed to coincide with the opening of our largest boutique in the Middle East which will be inaugurated on 12^th November at Dubai Mall,” said Joe Nahhas, Regional Brand Director of Montblanc.
 
Mr. Nahhas noted that Montblanc has embarked on a GCC-wide expansion plan which entails the opening of several new boutiques throughout the region including Montblanc’s own outlets as well as through strategic partners.
 
“The boutique in UAE underlines a paradigm shift in our regional focus as we place more emphasis on the watch and jewellery segment of our business along with the leather goods and writing instruments business,” observed Mr. Nahhas.
 
Born in 1955 in Hanover, Germany, Mr. Bethge possesses an MBA in Economic Science from the University of Berlin, Germany and has held senior positions in Beiersdorf AG, EFFEM GmbH Verden, MARS GmbH Viersen and Montblanc Simplo GmbH Hamburg, Germany before taking over the reins of Montblanc International GmbH Hamburg, Germany in 2007. A Skiing enthusiast and a keen Golfer, Mr. Bethge is married and has two sons.
 
Montblanc is recognized worldwide for its classic timepieces, jewelry, leather goods and writing instruments.
