Developer collaborates with THE One for complete interior decoration of model residential unit

Sabban Property Investments (SPI) launched yesterday (November 10, 2008) a three-bedroom ‘show apartment’ at the QR 1.2 billion ‘Sabban Towers’ project. The developer has collaborated with THE One – a global home fashion brand – to complete the interior decoration of the ultra-modern model residential unit, which will offer potential buyers a peek at the tower’s luxurious three-bedroom units. Unique furniture, lighting and accessories have been installed courtesy of the UAE-based furniture retail company, who also teamed up with SPI for its previously launched one and two-bedroom ‘show apartments’ for the same project.

In addition to the spacious interior of the apartment, the fully furnished model unit will also highlight the residential tower’s excellent location, which offers an almost 360º view of The Pearl-Qatar island entrance, West Bay and Porto Arabia. With a total area of 372 sq. m., the three-bedroom apartment incorporates a balcony that measures 100 sq. m. and an impressive 17 metre-long living and dining area, which are accentuated by unique and high quality furniture pieces from THE One. By not installing specialised mid-sized furniture to give the illusion of space, and instead using furniture from a renowned local furniture and home accessories brand that can easily be purchased by any member of the public, the developer is seeking to communicate to customers the transparency in terms of size and design of its model units.

“Following the success of the one- and two- bedroom show apartments we previously showcased in collaboration with THE One, we decided to continue our tie up with the launch of this three-bedroom unit, which will remain as a ‘show apartment’ even after project completion,” said Arron Browne, Sales and Marketing Manager, SPI. “The launch of these specially-designed apartments is in line with our customer-centric approach, which involve giving the customer a realistic view of our offerings before they make an important investment decision. We are now looking forward to launching a fully-furnished model for our penthouse units, the design of which is being carefully laid out by SPI and THE One.”

In addition to distinctive furniture pieces, the three-bedroom ‘show apartment’ will also feature pre-fitted state-of-the-art home appliances from Samsung and silent system drawer slide technology along with the latest innovations for home fixtures. In line with SPI’s environment-focused CSR, all model units within ‘Sabban Towers’, which is the first carbon neutral development in the Middle East, will utilise power-saving light bulbs and Grade-A power efficient appliances.

“THE One shares Sabban Property Investments’ commitment towards environmentally-focused corporate social responsibility and its dedication towards changing the world for the better. The partnership between THE One and this market-leading and eco-friendly property developer is reflective of the growing trend for unique developments, which are not only pleasing to the senses, but more importantly address pressing environmental issues. As an extension of our partnership with SPI, we will be giving residents of the ‘Sabban Towers’ exclusive offers on a wide selection of unique home fashion items at THE One’s Qatar theatres,” concluded Gaby Salome, Country Operations Manager, THE One - Qatar.

With a built-up area of 19,692 sq. m., the ‘Sabban Towers’ development is comprised of three towers namely, Provencal, Florentine and Tuscan, which are constructed on one podium. During the construction process of its inaugural project, SPI has undertaken global carbon neutral initiatives worth QR 3.5 million, which involved a number of unique projects in India, China, New Zealand, Jamaica and Uganda, making the project the first tower to achieve a carbon neutral status in the Middle East.
