Sensational football club to be present for autograph session at adidas sport performance store

Bayern Munich Football Club, Germany’s reigning football team will be the main attraction at an autograph signing on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at the adidas sport performance store in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai.

The signing session will be limited to fans who purchase any FC Bayern merchandise between the 8th and 10th January at an adidas store in the Mall of the Emirates or Deira City Centre. Tickets will also be given away via Al Arabiya 98.9FM, Al Khaleejiah 100.9FM, Dubai 92FM and Dubai Eye 103.8FM between the 8th and 10th January.

“This is a perfect opportunity for football enthusiasts to meet their heroes and we are pleased to offer our fans this chance," said Eduard Massier, Business Development and Marketing Director, adidas Emerging Markets.

adidas and FC Bayern entered a fruitful agreement in 2001, which sees the world’s foremost sports retail brand act as the club’s sponsor until 2010.

With two Intercontinental cups, four European Champions League titles, one UEFA cup title, one Cup Winner’s Cup title, 20 National Championships and 13 German cups to their name, FC Bayern are Germany’s most celebrated football club.

FC Bayern are in Dubai for their fourth annual training camp. As one of four competing clubs at the Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Football Championship, which commences 8 January 2007, Bayern will meet Lisbon giants Benfica in the semi-finals, before facing either Lazio of Rome or FC Santos of Brazil in the final or third place play-off.
