Al-Sorayai Trading Industrial Group, one of the Middle EastCs largest carpet manufacturers and exporters, will be participating in the third DOMOTEX Middle East, scheduled for May 25-27 in Dubai.
DOMOTEX Middle East is the only dedicated floor coverings and carpet exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa region. It is an ideal platform for gaining a foothold in this lucrative market and reconfirming a companyCs position in the Middle East.
"We at Al Sorayai Group have been keen to participate in this major event since its launch. Our participation was a complete success in the past two editions, where our stunning products stole the show," said Mr. Saleh Al-Sorayai, managing director and CEO of Al-Sorayai Group.
"Dubai is the main gateway, after our home country, Saudi Arabia, from which Al Sorayai has taken off to new horizons in the entire region. Our participation in the past two editions is still remembered as simply stunning whenever media reports approach the rapid growth of the world carpet industry or speak of DOMOTEX in general."
The groupCs participation in DOMOTEX 2007 Dubai was a resounding success, thanks to the spectacular stand and the stunning variety the group provided, which allowed them to stand out amidst more than 268 other exhibitors coming from 37 world countries, all renowned for their sophisticated carpet industries.
Known as the regionCs only specialist carpet and flooring exhibition, DOMOTEX is viewed by worldCs major carpet manufacturers as being one of the industryCs leading events where they company’s must showcase their products if they want to keep up in this highly competitive and very lucrative market.
Al SorayaiCs participation in this yearCs edition is expected to be even more impressive, particularly coming hot on the heels as it does of its remarkable participations in the Hannover DOMOTEX, held in Germany in January, and the Shanghai DOMOTEX 2008 in March, where the company has provided many major campuses in China with its Saudi-made carpets and rugs.
Some of these campuses are represented in main lounges and VIP auditoriums in the stadiums hosting Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, as well as in international airports and luxurious distinguished international hotels that will be receiving global delegations participating in Olympics.
Now officially reckoned the worldCs third largest carpet manufacturer, Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group started its factory in 1987 to meet the Saudi marketCs carpet needs. Accounting now for 51% of Saudi ArabiaCs total carpet and rug production, the GroupCs current output is estimated at 120-130 million square metres of carpet, 70 million square metres of which is being marketed locally, while the rest is being exported to 75 countries worldwide.
