DHL Call Centre Manager tops contenders at the 2008 Middle East Call Centre Awards

Brian D’costa, Call Centre Manager at DHL Express was recently awarded the “Best Call Centre Manager of the Year” at the annual Middle East Call Centre Awards. He was recognized for his success in leading a team of 45 employees at DHL Express. D’Costa was selected from among 71 nominees from the region.
“I am extremely pleased to receive this award and I would not have been able to achieve this without the sincerity and cooperation of my team members who have worked very hard to assure quality excellence, “said D’Costa, who has worked with DHL for 10 years.
Commenting on his role in the call centre, D’Costa said:” The key challenge is to manage the team of advisors and motivate them to develop their skills and abilities to deliver DHL’s high customer service levels.”
Congratulating D’Costa, Janet Jweihan, DHL Express Country Manager, UAE said: “DHL strives to maintain superior levels of customer service. This award reflects our high standards of performance, and the dedication of our employees. Brian has managed, directed, trained and motivated his team to deliver the best service and we are proud of this achievement.”
The annual Middle East Call Centre Award is organized by Insights Middle East, and is the only award dedicated to recognizing call centre professionals in the Middle East.
