 Sharjah Economic Development Department has organized bowling and billiards competitions for its employees, recently, as part of its scheme to strengthen relations among employees and organize entertaining and sporting activities that give them opportunities to get away from daily work routines and pressures.
 
The competitions saw entries from different SEDD’s departments and branches and were very exciting for participants and spectators alike.
 
Commenting on the occasion, Nawal Askar, deputy director of Economic and Public Relations at the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD, said: “We, at the SEDD, are always keen to create an ideal work environment for our employees, by organizing social, entertaining and sporting activities to bring our employees together and enhance teamwork values. The competitions last for 4 days, and was preceded by training under the supervision of professional coach. We received entries from 23 employees representing different departments and branches”. 
 
“Economic and Public Relations department at the SEDD is actively involved in the efforts to create investor-friendly climate, and to create excellent relations among its employees, as this will significantly contribute to increase employees’ satisfaction and productivity, which will automatically lead to achieve client satisfaction, and achieve our larger goals of creating sustainable economic growth in the emirate”.
