Special needs children from the Al Ain-based Private Centre for Care and Rehabilitation were yesterday (Monday, June 30, 2008) thrilled by Summer in Abu Dhabi activities and events. Festival organisers have made sure that people from all walks of life can enjoy the inaugural edition of the summer event with facilities and amenities being made available to meet the needs of special visitors throughout Summer in Abu Dhabi’s eight-week run which started June 26 and ends August 18, 2008.
“Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre is the world’s most modern events venue so visitors with special needs can rest assured that the venue can easily accommodate any particular requirement that they have. We have taken extraordinary care to ensure that children with special needs feel welcome and can enjoy the activities on display at Summer in Abu Dhabi. We are very proud that we have developed a show which is for everyone regardless of their ability or status” said Fiona Jackson, Senior Special Events Manager for ADNEC.
