Ruwad Establishment recently held a special ceremony to honour H.E Nasser Al Aboudi, UAE ambassador to Malaysia, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the tremendous success of the recently concluded joint venture initiative between Ruwad and the Malaysia Multimedia Super Corridor.
The event was attended by H.E Ahmed Al Midfa, Deputy Chairman of Ruwad, H.E Ali Al Mahmoud, a board member, Mr. Abdulaziz Tayram, Chairman of Ruwad’s Executive Committee and Mr. Khalid Mukaled, RuwadCs Business Development Manager.
The UAE ambassador to Malaysia praised the Ruwad-launched Techani Scheme, saying that such initiatives would contribute significantly to the development of the national economy. He commended Ruwad’s Board for its efforts and for the selection of Malaysia, one of the world’s leaders in the ICT industry, as a model from whose experience participants in the initiative could benefit.
H.E Ahmed Al Midfa said that the launch of Techani Scheme by Ruwad’s Board of Directors was aimed at broadening horizons for young national entrepreneurs and providing them with opportunities to keep abreast of the latest developments and the most advanced models in the world, and showing them the step by step processes involved in the conversion of ideas into solid ICT projects, stating that all the elements required for the successful establishment of such quality projects are available in the UAE, particularly in Sharjah.
“The Techani Scheme will continue, in cooperation with Malaysia, until the goals we have set are achieved and tangible results delivered. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) for their sponsorship and support of this initiative since its launch. The Authority is committed to the development of investment opportunities in the country, leading a new phase of economic growth, spearheaded by financial institutions. The SCA is keen to maintain this economic momentum and to provide the ideal climate in which to develop SMEs in the UAE,” he added.
