Habtoor Polo wins at the Prestigious Tonanejo Tournament in Spain

The UAE-based Al Habtoor Polo Team brings home victory during one of the most prestigious polo tournaments in Europe, namely the Tonanejo Tournament in Marbella, Spain from 18th to 20th July 2008. Habtoor Polo played against Santa Maria for a 9-7 score at the tournament.
The team of Habtoor Al Habtoor won the Low Handicap Tournament with his teammates Gabriel Iglesias, P. Berasadi and M Gayero. Meanwhile, the team of Mr. Mohammed Al Habtoor won 2nd place at the Medium Goal Tournament along with his team mates Justo Del Carril, F Castagneola and Munoz Escassi.
The highlights of year’s Habtoor Teams were the enthusiastic father-son duo. They were successful in displaying exceptional skills during the game, and giving the audience some thrilling and spectacular polo moments. A proven and seasoned player Mohammed Al Habtoor, was the winner of the last years’ Tonanejo Tournament. His son Habtoor Al Habtoor who became victorious this year, is a promising player of the Habtoor Polo. The victories are the results of years of dedication, passion for polo and rigorous practices. Both the teams are all set to the St Tropez Tournament in France on August 1st.
