Kenwood, Abu Dhabi TV and well-known TV personality and accomplished chef, Ms Manal Al Alem have joined forces to present 30 episodes of Matbkh Manal (Manal’s Kitchen) on Abu Dhabi TV throughout September 2008 as part of their Ramadan activities.
Ms Manal is a popular personality on Arabic television, an accomplished author, regular editorial contributor to women’s magazines, owner of a cooking school and sought-after food consultant who has used Kenwood Kitchen Machines and other kitchen appliances throughout her career.
During Ms Manal’s daily cooking programme throughout Ramadan, now in its second year, she will be joined by invited guests whilst she shares her famous recipes and valuable cooking tips in a cosy atmosphere with stylish kitchen and cookware; an entertaining programme designed to appeal specifically to Arabic women and families. The programmes will feature tips on how to use Kenwood appliances including the famous Kenwood Kitchen Machine and its numerous attachments whilst offering recipes and insights into the preparation of Arabic appetizers, main dishes and desserts.
Comments Ms Manal:
“This is the second year we are presenting Manal’s Kitchen on Abu Dhabi TV daily during Ramadan, and we will be featuring a selection of new and familiar recipes as well as some professional tips and tricks for food preparation and presentation for our audience!
I have personally used a Kenwood Kitchen Machine for many years, and it is a pleasure to be working with such delightful, stylish appliances during my show; knowing how to use the proper tools certainly enhances the cooking experience, and we will be including information on how to use the array of attachments to help reduce your time in the kitchen whilst giving a professional appearance to the end result – guaranteed to impress your family and friends.
My recipe style offers easy and simple steps and the Kenwood Kitchen Machine had helped me a lot to do this.”
Whilst the television programme targets Arabic audiences, Ms Manal herself appeals to all nationalities and often participants in events to promote Arabic cuisine to non-Arabic speakers. She will be a special guest at a separate event on 27th August offering insights to culinary traditions during Ramadan with tips on the preparation of Arabic dishes during a function for invited guests at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina.
