Seraa ala al Remal, which means ‘battles on the sand’, is a television portrayal of nomadic life, filmed in various locations in the region including Dubai and is a combined effort of technical experts and creative pioneers. The modern Ameenah has a brilliant appearance and an attractive personality. A stable family life eludes professionals like her, which is clearly validated by her angry husband insisting she abandon field reporting and resort to writing features instead. Unmindful of his reminders and dismissing the notion of a tame desk job, she resolutely rejects his idea and continues to relentlessly pursue her passion.

As a journalist, Ameenah is profoundly immersed in fighting social malaise such as child abduction and child labour, as well as mafias who deal in trading body parts and criminal subterfuge.
