The latest innovative techniques in the field of anti-aging are set to be showcased at a conference to be held in Dubai this autumn. Leading international experts will appear at the International Congress for Aesthetic, Anti-Aging Medicine & Medical Spa (ICAAM Middle East) when it opens its doors at the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel from November 29 to December 1st.
“In the congress we’re bringing real high level renowned experts to present their techniques, the new orientations, the new trends in aesthetics and the simple and efficient techniques to propose to patients,” said Christophe Luino, General Manager, Euromedicom. “We bring the right persons to provide this knowledge,” he added.
Although, the Middle East already has a thriving anti-aging health industry with many cosmetic surgeries and spas already operating across the region, Liuno believes the scope of the business here has the potential to grow substantially. However there is also a need for a better understanding of the procedures that industry professionals are using in Europe and the United States.
“What we’re proposing is the first level of anti-aging medicine that is quite simple for the practitioner to learn and apply in his practice. This approach is to give the tips, the keys, the different steps to follow to be able to provide a good level of well-aging medicine to the patients without any risk,” he said. “The congress is very practical,” he added.
Training is essential in this area of healthcare. With both non-invasive and surgical procedures common practice, health professionals are required to keep abreast of an ever increasing amount of information. ICAAM Middle East is specifically designed to offer all the relevant data for those involved in the industry, and those wishing to enter the market.
“The plastic surgeon already practicing will get information because he will see his colleagues from Europe and the rest of the world,” Liuno said. “The beginner will be very interested because in this congress he will receive practical, relevant information, and he will find the educational information he needs to be able to start his practice,” he added.
The Anti-Aging business has grown into a multi billion dollar global industry, and it is one area of medicine that receives huge investment in the research and development of new products and technology. As the field of anti-aging healthcare becomes mainstream, and more findings and breakthroughs are made more health professionals are entering the market. It’s for these reasons that Sietske Meerloo, Marketing Manager, IIR Middle East believes ICAAM Middle East will be a huge success.
“Anti-aging healthcare is one of the most exciting fields in medicine, and because new products are launched all the time and new procedures are offered to patients, the opportunities for medical practitioners to enter the field is growing substantially,” she said. “We’re anticipating ICAAM to be an extremely popular event for health professionals already in the field, and those looking to enter the business,” she added.
