Abu Dhabi job seekers get employment boost from strategic partnership

- Abu Dhabi Emiratization Council signs Memorandum of Understanding with Abu Dhabi Education Council to create 700 new job opportunities for UAE nationals
Abu Dhabi EmiratizationCouncil and Abu Dhabi Education Council today, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), which will create over 700 new vacancies for UAE nationals.
The signing took place at Abu Dhabi Education Council between H.E. Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili General Manager of the Abu Dhabi EducationCouncil and Mr Abdullah Al Darmaki, the new Chief Executive of the Abu Dhabi EmiratizationCouncil and is a significant step in delivering the Emiratizationvisionset out by the Abu Dhabi government.
The signing of the memorandum is a clear indication of the major role that the Abu Dhabi Emiratization Council is playing in achieving sustainable employment for UAE nationals.
Highlighting the importance of the new partnership with the Abu Dhabi Education Council, Mr Abdullah Al Darmaki, Chief Executive of the Abu Dhabi EmiratizationCouncil said: “The opportunity to create over 700 vacancies for Emirati job seekers shows just what can be achieved when organisations work together onsupporting Emiratization so that the skills of UAE nationals are developed and utilised.”
A number of full-time opportunities are available and are open to both males and females. There are immediate vacancies for transportation and safety officers, and on going vacancies for learning resources officers and school administrators. The vacancies will be located throughout Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Gharbia (the Western Region) and require to be filled before the start of the new school year. A series of roadshows to promote the employment opportunities will be undertaken throughout the region and successful applicants will receive extensive on-job skills training.
Commenting on the signing, H.E. Dr. Mugheer Al Khaili, General Manager of the Abu Dhabi EducationCouncil stated: “The partnership with the Abu Dhabi Emiratization Council is an exciting development for both our organisations and a benchmark for future partnerships. Itclearly signals our efforts to make employment of UAE Nationals a priority and our commitment to support the Emiratizationvision set out by the leaders of our country.”
Dr. Al Khaili, went on to outline how the recruitment process will work: “Potential candidates who return their application forms to the Abu Dhabi Emiratization Council will be invited to attend an orientation session. This will provide an opportunity to talk with experienced recruitment advisers about the positions and training opportunities that are available.”
The positions, which are available immediately, are open to all UAE national secondary graduates and above.
