“With the advent of international players, regional landscape designers and builders are realizing that there''s more to growth than sunshine, soil and water,” said John Wigham, Director of Cracknell - clear market leaders in the landscape architecture business.

Mr. Wigham noted that the GCC is beginning to value the outdoors and landscaping professionals are now in big demand. “Driven by the construction boom, many households have increasingly turned to landscaping services to design, develop and maintain their investments while landscaping contractors are learning how to grab their share of this high growth market,” he said.

Cracknell, one of the prominent exhibitors at Gulf Landscaping, will be emphasizing their core issues at the Abu Dhabi event including beauty, quality, authenticity, sustainability and social responsibility.

“As an organization we are committed to making contributions to creating sustainable landscapes and improving public quality of life,” Mr. Wigham remarked.

He noted that at Cracknell, commitment to the environment formed a core part their business mission. “We encourage our clients to utilize carbon neutral products as reducing our carbon footprint is a core strategy in our commitment to sustainability as a business,” Mr. Wigham stressed.

Gulf Landscaping is an exhibition for the booming Middle East outdoor design and landscaping architecture industries. The event is designed to generate business leads for companies in the landscaping business.

Alongside the exhibition CMPi UAE will also organize a one-day conference on sustainable construction as part of their support for the 2030 initiative - Estidama - designed to make Abu Dhabi the sustainability capital of the Middle East. The conference will cover the key subjects of sustainability, design & build, environmental issues, carbon footprints, urban planning, Abu Dhabi 2030 Initiative, water management and new product technologies.

Gulf Landscaping will serve as a sourcing platform and networking event for the regions landscape architects, developers, contractors and other key buyers, to enable them to select products, services and solutions for the huge number of major developments in the commercial, retail, leisure and residential sectors, as well as city parks and highways.
