Emarat Announces its Grand Prize Winner for Dubai Summer Surprises 2008

The doors of wealth and happiness were open before Uzir Shiudar of Bangladesh after winning the bedroom apartment worth 2.6 million dirhams by the Premier Group of Companies. The Grand Prize represents Emarat''''s pinnacle in its promotional campaign as main sponsor of Dubai Summer Surprises 2008 for the eleventh time in a row.
Dr. Rahma Bin Mohammad Al-Shamsi, Retail Sales Manager, presented the award to lucky winner, who in turn expressed his thanks and profound sensation on winning such a grand prize, which he did not expect, especially as he had dreamed for long of possessing an apartment of high value.
Mr. Hussain Kazim Manager, Corporate Communications at Emarat, congratulated the winner of the Grand Prize and the winners of weekly prizes, pointing out that the launch of this promotional campaign reflects the corporation''''s commitment towards the society and its environment. He stressed the importance of working within a clear methodology in order to consolidate and further develop relationships with Emarat partners and networking with its customers through its distinctive and diverse products and innovative promotional campaigns. He indicated that Emarat''''s promotional campaign is in tune with the significance of this great event, which managed to strengthen its foundations and growing its role in supporting the national economy.
He said:" our experience with this distinguished and major event has matured after 11 years of main sponsorship. Our participation was always brimming with a lot of very interesting and diverse initiatives that have contributed greatly to maintaining the momentum of the event. We were also able to develop relationships with many partners through the launch of a number of promotional campaigns that have enriched the event and provided several opportunities for shoppers, visitors and families to win valuable prizes while shopping at our various service stations and outlets, thus bringing happiness and joy to their hearts."

He referred the success of the event to the wise guidance of the Supreme Committee of the event and its vision, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman of the Emirates Group and Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Organization of Dubai Summer Surprises.
Under the conditions of the campaign launched by the Emarat during the DSS 2008, any shopper had the opportunity to win a prize for each AED 25 spent at Emarat''''s service stations, excluding fuel. This spending entitled the shopper to obtain a voucher that qualifies him to enter the weekly draw for a cash prize of AED 25,000, flat televisions with 42 inches screens, in addition to the ability to enter the Grand Prize, which consists of a flat offered by the Premier Group of Companies. The flat has an area of 1854 square feet, and is located in the "Dubai Land" project by Tatweer Development Company - a member of Dubai Holding.
