•  Metito provides wastewater treatment for Bahrain’s most distinguished residential address

Metito, the international water desalination and wastewater treatment specialist, today announced that it will provide wastewater treatment to Riffa Views, an upscale residential development in Manama, Bahrain.
 
Spread over 280 hectares of land, Riffa Views is regarded as a sanctuary away from the hubbub of daily stress and hence, is in need of state-of-the-art infra-structure services. Metito was the solution provider for wastewater treatment. Metito engaged with Riffa Views at the start of 2008 with a small temporary plant treating wastewater as an immediate fast track solution, and developed the plant into a Build, Operate, and Transfer project (BOT) which aims to cater for the  growth of the residential area. The now ready to operate Sewage Treatment Plant is able to treat 3,600 m3 of wastewater per day.
 
“Metito’s strong Know-How and accredited financial capability position it as a leader in BOT business ventures in the water and wastewater treatment industry. It’s really a win-win situation for the Riffa Views and Metito relationship,” said Walid Madwar, Business Development Manager, Metito Utilities. “The post-treatment water from the plant will be used to irrigate the golf course and increase the beauty and serenity of Riffa Views and make Bahrain greener.”
