|
Disease Prevention & Screening Centres (DPSCs), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) through its Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), announced an increase in working hours, by adding 3 extra hours of service on a daily basis. DPSCs have been introduced with a view to streamline medical visa screening processes for the benefit and convenience of the expatriates residing in the Abu Dhabi.
“This extension in timing witnesses our commitment towards providing the capital’s population comfort and convenience in the process of health check-ups and medical visa screening,” said Dr. Zainab Khazaal, DPSC Manager.
“Considering the expected growth in the number of screening applicants that we foresee during the next year, we see this decision as an appropriate solution to effectively cater to all expatriates’ medical requirements” said Dr. John L. Evangelista, Director SEHA-AHS. “We constantly endeavour to increase awareness and enhance healthcare standards, and this initiative will assist us in achieving both these objectives,” he added.
The new DPSC revised working hours have taken effect from 1st of December 2008 and shall be reflected at Disease Prevention & Screening Center in the city of Abu Dhabi only, whereas the rest of DPSCs’ centers will continue with their normal working hours.
