•  KSA distributor captures 55 per cent of regional sales to remain on top for 2^nd straight year 

Suzuki Saudia, the sole distributor of Suzuki vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and part of Bamarouf Group, has once again been named Suzuki’s Best Middle East Distributor for 2007, posting an impressive 55 per cent of total regional sales for the said year. Takeomi Nakai, head of Suzuki’s Motors Corporation, Middle East/Africa Marketing Group, presented an award to Suzuki Saudia for their high sales percentage.  
 
The achievement marks the second consecutive year that the distributor has been recognized as Suzuki’s top regional seller, reflecting the excellent performance of its 29 branches/Dealers throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Suzuki Saudia gained a strong reputation for their comfort and performance of their vehicles the SX4 and the Grand Vitara.
 
Ahmad Al Shamaile, National Sales Manager, Suzuki Saudia, said: “The Middle East is currently one of the most vibrant regions for the global automobile sector, which makes this a major achievement for our group. It reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff to provide the best services to our customers, and affirms our commitment to meeting the diverse and demanding needs of the region’s automobile markets.”
 
“Japanese automobiles are conquering international markets due to their superior performance, cost-efficiency, comfort and family-friendly features. It is thus also very rewarding for us to know that our vehicles, especially the Grand Vitara and SX4, are performing well against other popular Japanese models. We thank our customers and partners for their support and assure them that we will continue to maintain our good reputation in the Middle Eastern automotive market, especially within our KSA base,” he added.
The SX4 and the Grand Vitara have been consistent best sellers for Suzuki Saudia in the past two years and have led the company to a 15 per cent increase in sales across all its vehicle categories in 2008.
The winner of Suzuki’s Best Middle East Distributor for 2008 will be announced in April 2009.
