Xbox 360 Soccer Tournament Kicks off in Dubai

Dubai, The Chevrolet Pro Evolution Soccer Cup 2009, presented by Xbox 360, kicked off last Friday at Al Ghandi Auto Showroom, Dubai. The tournament brought hopeful contenders to compete together in the initial qualification stage which left Dubai’s champion Abdullah Suawidi from the UAE, with AED 5,000 and a golden pass to the final event that will leave one winner driving off in a 2010 Chevrolet Cruze car.
The Dubai tournament saw hundreds of eager fans gather to compete on and play one of the most popular soccer games available, on the Xbox 360. Each game lasting 10 minutes tested the speed and reaction of each player in knock-out matches.
Running for 2 days, the next qualification stage will be held in Abu Dhabi, at Bin Hamoodah Motors showroom, Airport Road, on April 3. Fans wanting to participate are requested to register on www.pescupme.com and make sure they bring an original PAL copy of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 on any of the available formats.
