• Commodore Pat Tyrrell, OBE (Ret''d), Former Commandant, Defence Intelligence and Security School and Deputy Chief Executive discusses his experience of Geospatial Intelligence and how it can be used in the Middle East.

International Quality and Productivity Centre (IQPC), the global provider of tailored, industry-driven conferences, announced today that the first pod cast in the Defence & Security Middle East series has been released.
 
In the inaugural pod cast, Commodore Pat Tyrrell, OBE (Ret’d) addresses the importance of geospatial intelligence to military operations and considers how the uses of geospatial intelligence might be expanded in the Middle East to cross the military-civilian divide.
 
Pat then goes onto explain that, “the biggest advance in geospatial technology has been in the quantity of data that can be analysed at any one time and this has far-reaching uses for all government organisations, including economic planning, enhancing regional security, environmental protection as well as providing support military operations.”
