 Tea and Health Dubai World Congress
 
 
The 3^rd World Congress on Tea & Health: Nutraceutical and Pharmaceutical Applications. Last Advances, Controversies & Innovations will be held in Dubai from 3 to 4 December 2009. Tea World Congress will attract many participants in various areas: researchers and academic professors, R&D departments, clinicians, pharmaceutical companies, food supplement companies, cosmetics companies, veterinary medicine companies, marketing departments, investors, start ups, and all other stakeholders in the tea industry.

The objective of Dubai Tea Conference 2009 is to provide answers and to give a future vision of how Tea Polyphenols can enhance human nutrition and help in the prevention and treatment (tea as promising drugs) of many chronic diseases.

The topics included are:

• Tea and the Prevention of Chronic Diseases 


• Bioavailability of Tea and Tea Extracts


• Nutraceutical Applications of Tea Polyphenols


• Tea and Skin-Ageing


• Slimming and Weight Management effects of Tea Polyphenols and Tea Extracts


• Anti-stress and well-being effects of Tea Polyphenols

In parallel, “Tea extracts as a future Drug?” will be on Friday December 4, 2009. The aim of the Symposium is to discuss how tea can be used as a future drug.
