  •  Implementation provides web-based, real time access to donors’ information and ensures transparency in donors’ contributions

Sage Software, one of the leading global suppliers of ERP, CRM, and HRM software solutions to medium and large organisations, has provided its robust modules to Jordan-based King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF), the legal umbrella organisation responsible for the King Hussein Cancer Centre (KHCC) and for the KHCF Health Care Program for cancer coverage (HCP). The project, which was implemented by United Business Applications (UBA), a leader in providing business solutions to enterprises, involved the deployment of Sage Software’s ‘Mandatory Suite’, ‘Optional Suite’, ‘Financial Suite’, ‘SageCRM’ and ‘Sage Accpac ERP’.

Prior to the project’s completion, KHCF and HCP maintained their donor and member information using the regular programs. With the adoption of donation and membership modules under ‘SageCRM’ software, the HCP users can now make changes on membership conditions such as membership fees, communication history and membership status conveniently. The implementation also helps KHCF use and classify donations in an easy and accurate way and channel them to the donor’s chosen fundraising program.

“Our solutions have proven to be a valuable tool for KHCF, not only in terms of organizing the work flow in an accurate way, but more importantly in facilitating smooth integration between its various departments,” said Vikram Suri, Managing Director, Sage Software - Middle East. “In addition to the robust solutions we offer, our partnership with UBA - one of our key business partners in the Middle East, is also an integral driver of our steady growth, and we are planning to maximise our association with them to further drive our business across the region.”

Established in 1997, KHCF is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation run by a board of trustees comprised of a dedicated group of prominent volunteers, and chaired by HRH Princess Ghida Talal. Its mission is to raise funds for the operation, maintenance and elevation of cancer care at KHCC to be at par with international standards. It also actively promotes awareness and education programs aimed at early detection and prevention of cancer.

“Our aim at KHCF is to raise funds for the benefit of KHCC; therefore it is crucial for us to adopt a software that will facilitate the workflow between different departments at KHCF in an accurate way to save time and effort. We have found this initiative with Sage Software and UBA to be most rewarding in helping us in this area,” said HRH Princess Dina Mired, Director General of KHCF, Jordan.

Founded in 2001, UBA is a Jordanian company that has grown to become a leader in providing business solutions to enterprises that focus on Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications. As one of the key ‘SageCRM’ development partner in the Middle East to customize and sell CRM business solutions, UBA is also one of the leading ‘Sage Accpac ERP’ business partner and solutions provider in the Middle East, which has grown rapidly to cover Libya, Syria, Qatar, Bahrain and the USA. The company has more than 60 customers in Jordan and the Middle East, and the team is made up of one of the largest Sage Accpac Certified Consultancy base in the Middle East.

"The agreements that we sign with organisations such as KHCF underlines our capacity to address the needs of a wide range of organisations - from multinational businesses to SMBs to non-profit institutions. With our business solutions, KHCF and HCP now have a system that can manage its rapidly increasing number of members and donors, and therefore properly direct the financial data,” concluded Hazem Bawab, Managing Partner, United Business Applications.
