BARWA Property Management opens BARWA Village applications for public

BARWA Property Management, a subsidiary of BARWA Real Estate, has announced through the BARWA Village Administration office that the start of the BARWA Village registration application process for the public begin this week and remain open until 30 November 2009.
Beneficiaries of the project are welcomed at BARWA Property Management Client Services Center located on C-Ring Road starting this week from 9 a.m. till 5p.m.) or by telephoning the BARWA Call Center on 459 55 99.
Confirming its commitment announced by Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Ghanim Bin Saad Al Sadd during the BARWA Village launch ceremony to deliver the project within 15 months in the first quarter of 2010, an official source stated: "We confirm the commitment of the board of directors of BARWA that tenants of BARWA Village units will enjoy the same life quality which tenants of other urban areas enjoy."
"BARWA Village is a project lies close to Al Wakra highway opposite Ras Abu Fentas, only 20 minutes from Doha City Center. Its construction period will not exceed 15 months and delivery will be in the first quarter of 2010," the source added.
Applicants for BARWA Village properties are instructed to provide the following documents:
The QR1.5 billion BARWA Village development embraces multi-use facilities featuring residential units for more than 1,500 occupants and commercial units for 13,000 visitors. BARWA Village is one of the mega real estate projects which BARWA is executing in Qatar. In addition, the 400,000 sq m project is considered one of the leading solutions offering residential and commercial solutions outside the city of Doha.
“BARWA always aims to provide the highest standards of service, and BARWA Village supports the vision of BARWA and shows clearly the company’s commitment to be a major partner in the urban renaissance of Qatar,” a BARWA Property Management official stated.
“Since more than one year, we established ground research committees to study the needs of tenants at BARWA Village, with priority given to those residing previously in the Mohamed Bin Jassim-Mushaireb area to provide them with suitable accommodation at a fair market price. Now the door is opened for all to apply,” the source confirmed.
BARWA Village development is an integrated real estate project distinguished from any other project in Qatar. BARWA is aiming to offer estate product with highest standards. BARWA Village carefully balances the needs of tenants and residents in the surrounding area, as well as the various communities living in Qatar. More than 30% of BARWA Village is green space, designed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The project does not allow high-rise buildings, thereby reducing traffic congestion. The maximum height for residential buildings is Ground Floor, Mezzanine and First Floor, while civil buildings (school, nursery, club, administration building and mosque) are also ground plus two floors. Only the shopping mall, measuring ground plus three floors, will be taller.
As BARWA Village project embraces various service facilities and retail shops as well as shopping mall and school, the planning, operational and occupational strategy aims to make the project an attractive place for families to meet their daily needs. Accordingly, BARWA Village administration has determined the business activities will make BARWA Village entirely self-sufficient and will include all necessary facilities such as stores selling clothing and textiles, footwear, electronics, computers, furniture, medicines and jewelry. In addition, the development will embrace service outlets for car rental, money exchange and other financial services, advertisements and promotional services, travel and tourism, laundry, butchery, hair salon, photography, movie & DVD rental, as well as consultancy and employment services, restaurants, bakery and café. Business facilities will be distributed to serve the objectives of the project and in compliance with all laws and legislations of the State of Qatar, giving priority for businesses currently occupying Mohamed Bin Jassim-Mushaireb.
BARWA Village’s 18 residential low-height compounds - comprised of ground floor, mezzanine and first floor - present various residential and commercial options including 96 studios, 262 one-bedroom apartments, 100 two-bedroom apartments, and 918 retail shops. BARWA Village facilities include a 1,200 sq m health club with swimming pool, international school for 900 students, two-floor nursery, parking, parks and green spaces, playground, neighborhood center, 2-floor mosque accommodating 800 worshippers, medical clinic, 1,400 sq m administrative building, 4,000 sq m shopping center incorporating ground floor parking and hypermarket with commercial shops on the 1st floor and restaurants and children’s games on the 2nd floor.
