CEO of Drake & Scull International PJSC Presented with Award for International Achievement

Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Drake & Scull International (DSI) PJSC, Khaldoun Tabari, was presented with the award for International Achievement at the annual CEO Awards ceremony held lastnight at The Grosvenor House hotel.
 
Under the leadership of Khaldoun Tabari, DSI has grown from a local contractor to a regional player in the construction industry. DSI’s business has expanded from mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) to include engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), infrastructure, water and power (IWP) and civil contracting.
 
Anil Bhoyrul, Editorial Director from ITP Executive, said “the judges felt that DSI has shown great initiative in adapting to new markets, and being flexible in what are challenging times.”
 
Khaldoun Tabari said the company is proud to be presented with this award. “We have always said that funds acquired from our IPO would be used in part to expand internationally. Being presented with this award for International Achievement shows that we have been successful in delivering our promise.”
 
On March 16 2009, DSI became the first specialist contracting company to list on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM)
DSI is currently working on projects throughout the MENA region including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Bahrain
