- Dr. Nahed Taher enters FT & Dow Jones Top Lists
Jeddah, Leading Saudi economist Dr. Nahed Taher, Founder and CEO of Gulf One Bank has been listed amongst the Top 50 Women in Business by the Financial Times and is the only business woman on the list from the Middle East. The report, compiled in collaboration with recruitment group Egon Zehnder International, celebrates women business leaders around the world.
Equally Dr. Nahed Taher entered the Financial News 100 women list which picked 100 influential women in financial markets who have steered their organization in a steady course through the financial crisis and responded quickly in the face of adversity helping their organizations to prosper further in the face of turbulent times ahead.
This global recognition of Dr. Taher’s efforts in Banking and specialized infrastructure banking was highly valued by the financial sector internationally. Being one of the leading economists in the region and founder of Gulf One Investment Bank added considerable value in the valuation process.
