The largest airline in Northern Europe and the national carrier of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, is offering two very attractive tax inclusive fare offers on the Dubai – Copenhagen route for the UAE market to kick off its 3
rd season.
The ‘First Five Flights’ fare offer of the thrice-weekly winter season service scheduled to commence on 29 October 2009 covers all of its class configuration. Under this offer, prices for a round-trip ticket are AED 5,860 for Business Class, AED 3,360 for Economy Extra and AED 1,460 for Economy. Bookings can be made from now up to October 30, and the whole trip must be completed by November 11.
“We are extremely excited to be servicing the Dubai-Copenhagen route for the 3rd successive winter season,” said Albert Henschel, SAS Scandinavian Airlines General Manager for the UAE. “As a special offer to our valued customers in the UAE we have decided to make a unique once-in-a-lifetime offer for the first five flights of this season.
“Taking into consideration the tax amount that is inclusive in the round-trip ticket prices, I sincerely believe that no other airline can match this offer.”
On the other hand, as an extension of the ‘First Five Flights’ offer a ‘Re-Introduction Campaign Fare’ promotion for flights until 17 December are: AED 6,560 for Business Class, AED 4,560 Economy Extra, and AED 1,885 for Economy Class.
Both the ‘First Five Flights’ offer and the ‘Re-Introduction Campaign Fare’ offer are, for a small surcharge, also available to SAS’ entire network in Scandinavia, Finland and Europe. In addition, both offers can be booked immediately and up to October 30 at www.flysas.ae, at Dnata, or at any travel agency.
“These offers are indeed something which any traveller wanting to see and experience the Scandinavian sights, sounds and culture should take advantage of. More importantly, with our extensive network, travellers can enjoy hassle-free onward connections throughout Scandinavia and Northern Europe from our hub in Copenhagen,” added Henschel.
SAS Scandinavian Airlines is one of few airlines offering Economy Extra, a generously upgraded Economy Class with wider, more comfortable seats with plenty of legroom. With one of the most generous cabin classes in the sky, SAS’ Economy Extra passengers receive a range of Business Class benefits, but at a much lower price. In Economy Extra you will enjoy a remarkably more comfortable seat than in Economy. In a spacious 2-3-2 configuration, the seats are wider and offer 20 per cent more legroom compared to Economy. All Economy Extra seats also have adjustable neck and foot rests for a greater level of comfort.
Economy Extra passengers can then race through Fast Track security (where available) and enjoy priority boarding. They can also take advantage of a greater baggage allowance, including one additional piece of hand luggage to take onboard.
The Dubai-Copenhagen route will be operated by an Airbus A340 and A330 with a three-class configuration: Business, Economy Extra and Economy.
