ITS Group Wins the Best-Integrated Services Award in the Communications Summit in Kenya

Dubai – In furtherance of its achievements at the world level, the International Turnkey Systems Group (ITS) was awarded the award for the best integrated services and comprehensive convergent offering, in appreciation of its role in servicing the communication sector in the African continent, during the Communications Summit, the Next Generation in Communications (NGT) convened recently in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
Commenting on this award, the Managing Director and General Manager of ITS Group Khaled Faraj Al-Sa’eed said that the award is deemed to be a significant addition to the Group achievements, specifically it now stresses ITS role and distinct activities in one of the fastest growing markets, namely the African continent which witnesses considerable growth in the communication sector since several years.
The role assumed by ITS in the African communications market through strategic coalitions with a number of communication companies expanding in this continent is accredited by everybody, Mr. Al-Sa’eed added, indicating that the award of this prize accounts for a further addition to the Group achievements, which succeeded during the last two years to be awarded with a distinctive package of world and regional prizes that confirm its leadership and precedence.
Al-Sa’eed pointed out to the role undertaken by the Group human resources in realizing achievements, stressing that the Group would have not reached such unique position without these human resources, of who gain experience day by day in light of the rising heated competition in the communication world, and the technologies associated thereto.
Al-Sa’eed confirmed that ITS is deemed to be the best partner for several companies exercising their business in communication sectors, and whose business and activities witness rapid and continued growth, specifically those companies expanding on the regional and world arenas and require the existence of a distinct partner in the information technology sector like ITS.
Al-Sa’eed added also that through its continued follow-up to the developments in various sectors, ITS long since been aware of the significance of the communication sector and the tremendous growth witnessed in this sector on the regional and world levels, and thus ITS developed a lot of its products and services for serving this strong-growing sector.
The Communications Summit
The African Communications Summit convened under the motto of the “Next Generation in Communications”, “NGT” witnessed the highest levels of participation of leaders in this sector from inside and outside the African continent. Some notable names took part in this Summit; among them is Mr. Ahmad Farrouk, Chief Executive Office of MTN Nigeria, Samer Dave, CTO & Chief Executive, MTN SA, Mohammed Sheik, Group Strategy Director at Zain Telecommunications, Michael Ghossein, CEO, Telkom Kenya and Steve Bailey, CEO, Virgin Mobile SA.
Participants agreed that the significance of the development in communication business lies on the necessity to develop networks in the rural communities in order to reach the largest number possible of subscribers, along with the necessity for the integration of the communication industry so as to raise the standard of confidence of both customers and investors.
Participants handled also the future of communication market in the African continent, and whether such market would be capable to stand up to the competition of emerging and developed markets at the same time, such as Asia and Southern America. They also discussed the innovative technologies by grand companies in the area of communications such as ITS, HDS, and Microsoft, who believe that Africa plays a key role and accounts for the land of opportunities in communication business lines.
