Melville Middle East Successfully Complete First Full-Service Contract for Three Major Shows

ABU DHABI - Melville Middle East Exhibition Services, a GES Worldwide Network company, announced their completion of exhibition services to Middle East Communications & Forums (MECOM Forums), a Clarion Events Partner, for the Fashion Arabia, Shoe & Leather Middle East, and Optical Middle East shows, all at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
 
The appointment was for the full range of services, including electrical, standfitting, furniture, floorcoverings, graphics, floorplanning, custom design and build as well as feature areas.
 
MECOM Forums’ CEO Geoff Dickinson comments, “The design and overall construction quality of the shows were excellent. They really set the bar for the future of Middle East events and exhibitions. Melville Middle East had an outstanding team in place to execute this challenging project and they really delivered. Throughout the show builds, their team focused on serving the exhibitors’ needs as well as the physical production of the shows. During my entire career working in the Middle East, I’ve never seen a team approach builds in such an organised way.”
 
MECOM Forums’ Operations Director Julie Allen adds, “The Melville Middle East team’s approach to the production of the shows was particularly well thought out. After the first day of build, we were sufficiently ahead of the game, which allowed us to focus on other issues. Melville’s quality of shell scheme and furniture stock is also first rate.”
