After inaugurating the events of the Careers Day 2009, Mr. Butti Abdulla Al Jumairy, Executive Director of HR, Finance and Admin Division at Dubai Customs said:" Giving attention to the UAE national citizen and achieving the sustainable social development are considered among the corporate values of the Department. From this springboard the Department is keen on participating in the career fairs that take place within the UAE throughout the year. These events which give HR recruiters and job seekers the chance to meet allow students who seek to find jobs to submit their CVs in person and get evaluated from the specialized personnel at the different sectors in the Department.” He also pointed out that Dubai Customs is considered among the most prominent government organizations which support nationalization in the UAE with 80% rate of national employees.

The Careers Day aims at introducing the UAE national distinguished students to various job vacancies available in different local and international companies and organizations. It also gives students insight into the available career opportunities in the local business market. In addition, students will receive some guidance which will help them choose the career paths which best suit their potentials and ambitions.
