FRANCE 24 AT THE DUBAI AIRSHOW 2009

Running from the 15^th to the 19^th of November 2009, the Dubai Airshow is the foremost aerospace event in the Middle East and the fastest growing airshow in the world.

For the first time, FRANCE 24 teams are present at the Air Show and have installed a television studio in the main hall. In English, French and Arabic, FRANCE 24 will broadcast live and recorded interviews with key figures of the aeronautics industry such as:
-       Louis GALLOIS, CEO, EADS
-       Shep HILL, CEO, Boeing
-       HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
-        
-       Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways
 
 
In addition to these interviews, Raphaël KAHANE for the French and the English channels and Khalid KARAOUI for the Arabic channels, will follow all the developments of the Airshow and provide updates in FRANCE 24 news bulletins.
 
Monte Carlo Doualiya (MCD) radio is also present with its own studio installed alongside the FRANCE 24 set. Journalist Eric El Kalache will be covering the event for MCD with interviews and reports.
 
With content distribution agreements with many major airlines, including Air France, FRANCE 24 programmes are available to over 100 million passengers a year on in-flight screens and the Dubai Airshow is of strategic importance to the channel.
