- Arabian Center Mall will host a spectacular musical introducing the concept of ‘Theatre on Ice,’ bringing a musical theatrical adaptation of J.M Barrie’s Peter Pan, played on a specially constructed ice rink as part of the “
Eid in Dubai” celebrations.
The `Peter Pan on Ice,’ a spectacular entertainment show that caters for children and families, will be performed by highly accomplished artistes with the story line unfolding through breathtaking acrobatics to take the audience on a magical journey that promises to dazzle by its sheer beauty and elegance. The troupe members who will be especially flown-in from UK are skaters of Olympic fame.

PDM, a leading Dubai-based marketing and event management company, is collaborating with a British production company-Wild Rose Productions to bring the lavish and spell-binding shows to the audiences in Dubai. Wild Rose Productions is regarded as the finest company of professional skaters in the world. Vee Deplidge, the producer of the company is known for his strategy of taking familiar narratives, usually fairy tales, and adapting them to full-length ‘theatre on ice’ productions that fit a frozen theatre stage, a concept he has pioneered since 1993.
Cavaliere Guiseppe Arena, regarded as one of the most innovative artistic directors and choreographers in the world whose work includes the opening ceremony of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, will be choreographing the shows. Arena was bestowed the title of Cavaliere-equivalent to a knighthood- by the Italian government in 2004 for his services to dance.
