“As our business is primarily involved in the motorsports industry, we are acutely aware of the fitness required to compete in our sports sector. “All types of sports are accessible in the UAE, we are very lucky to have one of the most supportive countries in the world investing in fantastic sports facilities and it is our duty to promote the health side of sport”, commented Peter Lanz, XSPORT Motorsport Consultant and former international racing driver for 40 years.
“During this Diabetes awareness month would like to encourage all children and families to visit the new indoor go-karting facility at Stargate Edutainment Centre Dubai, to try out some exciting motorsports for themselves. We will be running ‘arrive and drive’ experiences for small children aged 5 years and up, also for teens and adults, we have larger, faster go-karts,” announced Peter Lanz.
“We are doing our part to educate families and children about active participation in sport and by introducing the children at a young age, perhaps we can help reduce diabetes, entice them into sport and find future racing champions at the same time,” said Lex Akehurst.
