Dubai Festival City unveils Eid District festivities

Dubai - Dubai Festival City has laid out an impressive spread ofmulti-culturalmusical entertainment, magical aquatic shows, Arabian heritage events and hospitality tents as part of Eid Al Adha and National Day festivities.
The shopping and leisure destination of choice for thousands of visitors, Dubai Festival City will also host the Disney Princess Celebration theonce-upon-a-time musical stage show from November 27-December 3. The event is brought exclusively by “Eid in Dubai”. Daily shows will be held at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm in Festival Square. A range of Disney Princess merchandise, interactive games, home entertainment and music will also be available for purchase.
“I wish to thank DSF Office for according Dubai Festival City pride of place to host not only this wonderful event, but to also once again be Dubai’s official Eid District,” said Tom Miles, Director, Shopping Centres, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate.
Mr. Miles also said the Disney magic is one of the many surprises we have in store for our loyal Festival Centre guests. “There’s plenty more of such activities in the pipeline during the next few months.”
The Eid District activities are part of “Eid in Dubai” programme for the upcoming holidays and includes: Three Aquafantasia shows evening at Canal Walk; a Heritage Village at Marina Promenade open from 10am to 10pm; Hospitality Tents at the Power Centre and VIP entrance; Fuwalat Al Eid at the Concierge Desk from 4pm to 10pm; and Dhiyafat Al Eid from 10am to 10pm on the ground floor.
Three local Arabic bands will also be in attendance on the UAE National Day. Al Harbiyah will perform on the Floating Stage at the Festival Marina from 7pm-10pm; Al Dan Band will perform at the Power Centre and Al Habban Band will be marching throughout the Festival Centre.
Coffee and dates will be served to visitors at the VIP entrance.
