Buffalo Technology, a global leader in the design, development and manufacturing of storage, wired and wireless networking and memory solutions, today announced the Buffalo LinkStation™ Duo LS-WXL/R1-EU, a high performance 2-drive Network Attached Storage (NAS) Device.
The LinkStation™ Duo is the next generation of Buffalo’s LinkStation family of NAS products, with a removable front plate, and based on industry-leading storage technologies, this versatile drive contains data management features that make it the ideal NAS solution for the home or small businesses user.

Available in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacities, the new LinkStation™ Duo features enhanced performance of up to 40MB/s and can be configured in RAID 0 for performance or RAID 1 for redundant storage. With quick swap, users can easily remove and replace each of the drives. In addition, schedule backups to an external USB storage device or any other NAS appliances.
The new Buffalo LinkStation™ Duo also streams multimedia to preferred media players – whether PC or Mac, through Buffalo LinkTheater™ or any other DLNA CERTIFIED™ media player. It seamlessly integrates with iTunes® and allows access to music files from the iTunes® software. Buffalo’s LinkStation™ Duo also has support for Apple Time Machine® Back-up and Apple Bonjour®. With the WebAccess feature store, share and access files from any web browser via a PC, Mac or iPhone.
