Dubai Silicon Oasis and General Information Authority Celebrates Unity with Watani

Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the region’s premier integrated innovations hub for high-tech industries, hosted today “Al Mutahida” campaign, in celebration of the 38th UAE National Day. The event was organized by the General Information Authority (GIA) and in collaboration with Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), and Watani.
 
Led by Dr. Mohammed Al Zarouni – Vice Chairman & CEO – Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, Salem Al Shair – Director General of the General Information Authority, and H.E. Mohammad Al Ghanim – Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), employees gathered around to participate in the celebrations and to express their commitment to the vision and values that created the UAE, by stamping their fingerprint on the postcard of affection and loyalty.
 
Commenting on this event, Dr. Zarouni said: “We are delighted to host this event at Dubai Silicon Oasis to commemorate the UAE National Day. This initiative by the “Watani” program was organized in collaboration with the General Information Authority (GIA) and reflects the collective pride of UAE nationals in their identity as citizens of this great country that has taken pioneering steps through the past 38 years. We owe this success to the UAE’s wise leadership and take this opportunity to pledge our continued commitment to the future progress of the country”.
 
H. E. Salem Al Shair, said: “I take this national occasion to extend warmest greetings to our great leader His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. I feel proud to see that this national event is being celebrated by the second generation after 38 years from that historic declaration. This demonstrates the fact that the UAE’s unity is the most successful and most sustainable unity experience in the region.”
 
H. E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim expressed his happiness at the event saying: “On this great day, I send my greetings and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum the UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, their brothers Their Highness members of the Supreme Council and the rulers of the emirates and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. I pray to Allah Almighty to bless our leaders in their endless efforts to achieve the supreme goals and ambitions of our country, hoping that next year we will celebrate more achievements.”
 
The “Al Mutahida” campaign is organized in association with Emirates Post. It also features an art competition and exhibition in coordination with the Emirates Association for Fine Arts and Tashkeel Gallery. The competition will engage young and talented artists in the UAE to present their personal artistic interpretation of the word "Mutahida" reflecting its true significance and the underlying principles and values of the UAE union.
