Cravia Brands Named Top Performers in World

Cravia, the parent company of Cinnabon, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Zaatar w Zeit and Roadster diner, has been honoured with seven awards at the recent Focus Brand World Wide international conference held in Las Vegas, for its Cinnabon and Seattle’s Best Coffee operations.
Cinnabon took the ceremony’s most prestigious award with its Mall of the Emirates branch being named Best Bakery in the world. The UAE franchise also received the Best Growth Impact award, for supporting other markets in openings in 2008. Cinnabon, Abu Dhabi Mall, received awards for Best Sales Growth for the year 2008 and esteemed Best Sales Performance for the year 2008; while Cinnabon Dubai Festival City came in second place for Best Sales Performance.
Seattle’s Best Coffee Abu Dhabi Mall was also triumphant, being awarded Best Sales Growth for the year 2008.
Parent company Cravia won the honourable Community Service award for its initiative in focusing on community service and being an inspiration to other brands around the world. This community spirit was demonstrated at the rolling and baking event held by Cravia, through Cinnabon, to raise funds for the Dubai Autism Centre in Christmas 2008.
“Cravia’s performance in these awards is a direct reflection of the popularity and positive feedback we have been receiving from customers who love what we offer,” said Cravia CEO, Walid Hajj. “This is the third year we’ve walked away from this ceremony with honours and the repeated achievement is a clear testament to the international level of service excellence we provide our customers, who will continue to be rewarded by our high service and tasty treats.”
The Focus Brand World Wide Awards take place every two years. In 2009 1,200 people attended from 80 countries.
