- Canon broadens business support and consultancy for the Egyptian print market with EBBP
Canon Middle East, world leader in imaging and business solutions has today announced the success of its much anticipated Essential Business Builder Program (EBBP) which was shared with key clients and partners in Cairo. Due to the success of the programme, Canon Middle East was also invited to host a special seminar on the digital printing industry for print students of Helwan University, Cairo to help shape the next generation of Egyptian printers.
“We were pleased to accept the invitation and host a seminar for print students. The seminar generated an insightful debate on digital market trends and on how digital printing technology can be integrated with offset. This initiative is testament to the fact that Canon is a trusted and preferred partner in providing market leading expertise and is committed to providing the highest standards of support to the Egyptian print industry,” commented Ayman Aly, Product Manager, Canon Middle East.
Canon shared with the students findings from its commissioned study, ‘The Insight Report - Digital Printing Directions’ which provided insights into the digital printing industry. Aly also discussed the mission and objectives of Canon’s Essential Builder Program broadening the students’ awareness of the business support and consultancy packages offered by leading brands such as Canon.
As part of the ongoing programme, print students of Helwan University have been invited to the Canon - ETCO showroom based in Al Obour City for a full day of hands on experience with Canon’s latest print technology such as imageRUNNER ADVANCE. Students will get the opportunity to put the technology through its paces and experience the latest advances the print industry has to offer. In addition the students will receive on-the-job training and guidance from highly trained staff at ETCO, Canon’s accredited partner in Egypt.
“Our students gained valuable insights on the topic ‘Digital marketing trends and opportunities’ from the seminar. The example of Canon Middle East launching their latest imageRUNNER ADVANCE during the peak of an economic recession has certainly reaffirmed the confidence among our students in the opportunities that exist within the digital printing industry,” said Dr. George Nubar Simonian, XXX, Helwan University, Cairo.
Canon’s Essential Business Builder Program acts as a support and consultancy package for its customers in the shape of information guides, and one-day group workshops. The workshops are run by independent consultants who tailor the modules to fit with their country requirements. For more advanced, bespoke support, Canon can arrange for the consultants to work closely with their customers on specific problems.
