• MBA programme ranked number one in Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2010

 
In the annual rankings from the Financial Times, London Business School’s full-time MBA programme has once again achieved the top position in the Global MBA Rankings for 2010.
 
In 2009, the full-time MBA programme was ranked joint number one in the world alongside University of Pennsylvania: Wharton, and first in Europe. This year’s rankings saw a further improvement in the School’s position to claiming sole possession of the top ranking. 
 
London Business School is one of only three schools in the world to have held the number one spot since the rankings began a decade ago, and the only non-US School to do so. The improved ranking demonstrates the School’s continued focus of building on its strengths and maintaining international diversity and global reach, while also helping to ensure its graduates enjoy high employability and career progression in spite of the challenging economic times.
 
Professor Sir Andrew Likierman, Dean of London Business School said: "Our School is an institution of which we can all be proud. It is an accolade for everyone who has played a part in providing an unbeatable student experience.”
 
“We will continue to maintain our international diversity and our global reach.”
 
Sir Andrew also paid tribute to the School’s 30,000 strong Alumni, commending them for their support, which has made a significant contribution to the School’s continuing success.
 
London Business School has maintained a consistency in its performance over the past ten years, which have seen the School finish in the top three for the last three years, in the top five for the past five years and in the top ten since the rankings began.
