• Experienced and focused team to contribute to Gulf’s leading MICE event in Abu Dhabi

 
GIBTM 2010 - The Gulf Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings Exhibition - taking place in Abu Dhabi at ADNEC from 29^th to 31^st March, has appointed The Vision Destination Management as the event’s official ground handler.
 
The Vision Destination Management, launched this year, is headed by Mr Ali Abu Monassar who has over 25 years experience in the sector and was responsible, whilst at Net Group, of overseeing the ground handling of GIBTM since its first edition in 2007.
 
Commenting on the appointment Graeme Barnett, GIBTM Exhibition Director said: “Delivering successful international events relies on the capabilities of a number of highly professional local stakeholders and partners. Throughout the planning and execution of the inaugural GIBTM, and following 3 editions, Mr Ali Abu Monassar and his son Mr Anwar Abu Monassar have provided wholehearted support both at a strategic and operational level. Their wide ranging individual experience and local knowledge, combined with an appreciation of and passion for the development of the regional and global Meetings industry has provided invaluable insight which we are truly grateful.
