•  Energy Management Giant Explores Future Cooperation Opportunities

 
Dubai – TECOM Investments, the developer of knowledge based business parks and a member of Dubai Holding, today announced it hosted a high-level delegation from Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management, to explore different avenues for cooperation.
 
Abdullatif AlMulla, Group Chief Executive Officer, TECOM Investments, received the delegation led by Jean-Pascal Tricoire, President and CEO, Schneider Electric, Emmanuel Babeau, Chief Financial Officer, Turhan Turhangil, Senior Vice-President Balkans and Middle East Cluster, and John Griffiths, President Gulf Countries.
 
Schneider Electric is the global specialist in energy management with operations in more than 100 countries. With over 114,000 employees and sales of more than 18.3 billion euros in 2008, the company focuses on making energy safe, reliable, efficient and green.
 
Ghazi Atallah, Managing Director neXgen, Badr Al Gargawi, CEO Tamdeen, Yasser Zeineldin, CEO of eHosting DataFort, a subsidiary of TECOM Investments, Khaled Bushnaq, CEO of EMS and Pierre Die Chachay – Marketing Director were among the other TECOM officials present at the meeting.
 
AlMulla said: “Preliminary talks with the Schneider Electric delegation focused on laying the ground for future collaboration, based on the natural synergies that could be leveraged on by the two organisations. We are confident that as we progress into 2010, we will embark on many similar initiatives with leading companies for mutual benefit.”
 
Schneider Electric offers integrated solutions across multiple market segments, including leadership positions in energy and infrastructure, industrial processes, building automation, and data centres/networks, as well as a broad presence in residential applications.
 
Jean-Pascal Tricoire said: “We have been active in the region for a long time and realize the time is right to look for new avenues of cooperation with organizations such as TECOM Investments. As a leading developer of business parks that are knowledge clusters, TECOM shares common areas of interests with Schneider Electric and we believe this meeting will pave the way for more fruitful partnerships in the future.”
