UPP Wins Major Publishing Accolade at the Dubai International Print Awards

• The National scoops Gold for the second consecutive year  

 
Abu Dhabi- United Printing and Publishing (UPP), the wholly-owned printing subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media Company, won for the second consecutive year the highest newspaper print accolade at the fourth edition of the Dubai International Print Awards, held last night: the Gold award in the ‘newspapers printed by web offset process’ category, in recognition of its consistently high quality production of The National.

For The National, scooping the Gold award for the second consecutive year comes as a real endorsement for the brand overall: recognition of the editorial effort put into publishing relevant content for readers, creating a distinctive modern look and a pleasant feel that inspires loyalty within the readers, as wells as acknowledgment of the fine job done by UPP, who turned the editorial team’s vision and ideas into reality.

 
Created and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Dubai International Print Awards brought together key players from the printing and publishing sector, celebrating new benchmarks of quality, management efficiency and technological advancements achieved by the industry's best companies. With over 871 entries across 23 categories, this year’s edition broadened considerably attracting international participation from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan and India, among the new joiners vying for the awards.
