Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein tours GE Healthcare pavilion at Arab Health 2010
|
Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, UN Messenger of Peace, Chairperson of International Humanitarian City and wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President & Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, visited the GE Healthcare pavilion at Arab Health 2010, the premier healthcare exhibition held at the Dubai International Convention Centre.
Her Royal Highness Princess Haya was briefed on the latest innovative technologies and solutions showcased by GE Healthcare, and GE’s healthymagination initiative, aimed at working with partners to take on the most pressing challenges in healthcare – cost, quality and access – and help people live healthier lives.
“We are honored by the visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Haya to the GE Healthcare pavilion at Arab Health. As one of the world’s foremost social champions working towards alleviating global poverty and hunger, Her Highness’s visit further inspires us to continue to focus on the healthymagination initiative for the region. We were privileged to brief Her Royal Highness on the latest solutions from GE Healthcare that can transform healthcare delivery across the region,” said Aziz Koleilat, General Manager at GE Healthcare for the Middle East region.
GE had also been a strong supporter of the ‘Stand Up & Speak Out’ campaign organised under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Haya to take a pledge to act towards mitigating global poverty and hunger.
GE Healthcare is the Platinum Sponsor of the exhibition and the Commercial Gold supporter of three key conferences on Anesthesia, Molecular Imaging & Nuclear Medicine and Middle East Imaging and Diagnostics, being held on the sidelines of the event. GE’s ‘healthymagination’ approach is aimed at helping patients live longer, healthier lives by lowering costs, touching more lives and improving quality of healthcare delivery worldwide.
