Everyone has faced a battle against fat. Whether it’s pesky cellulite, excess amounts of fat that linger, uneven and lumpy distribution, or just small problem areas that don’t seem to respond to diet and exercise, Carbon Dioxide therapy can help.

Carbon Dioxide Therapy is a safe, minimally-invasive, all natural medical procedure, which produces dramatic and profound improvements to the skin. It is clinically proven to improve skin texture, contour and firmness.

This simple procedure can significantly improve the appearance of cellulite, localized fat deposits, scars and stretch marks.  Sessions are rapid, easy to perform, very comfortable and have been getting an “A” for patient satisfaction.

The fat busting begins with CO2 gas that is administered below the skin into the subcutaneous tissues through a process called lipolysis to decrease and delete the localized accumulations of fat. It then causes blood vessels to dilate, which increases blood flow – and hence oxygenation – to the area. This gets rid of the built up fluids between the cells. The end result is fewer fat cells and firmer tissue.

Carboxytherapy is an innovative, safe, effective therapy that enhances the elasticity of the overlying skin. It can also be used for skin irregularities, skin tightening, and as a complementary treatment to liposuction (for residual fatty deposits). Side effects are minimal and include mild pain at the injection site, a crackling sensation of the skin and possible bruising. None of these leave any lasting visual effects. No anesthesia is required, and there are no restrictions following treatment. It can be used to treat any part of the body, is therapeutic and ideal for women of any age.

The carbon dioxide gas used in the treatment is naturally produced by the cells in our bodies every day and is non-toxic. Approximately 10 sessions are required and, depending on what needs to be done, it is performed either once or twice a week. Each session lasts about 15 minutes. Results are usually noticeable after the fifth treatment, and after about ten treatments you will notice that your skin is firmer.

Dr. Maria Angelo Khattar, Managing Director of Aesthetica Clinic said, “It’s so exciting when there are advancements such as these in aesthetic medicine. This therapy focuses on a problem area that is a common source of distress for many individuals. Being able to achieve these significant results through such a minimally invasive procedure is a real breakthrough in the industry. I am so pleased that we are able to provide optimal results for our patients through treatments like Carboxytherapy.”

The outcome of Carboxytherapy is affected by diet and exercise. Like all rejuvenation treatments, maintenance should be carried out every 3-6 months in order for the results to reach their full potential and for you to be able to fully enjoy your mostly fat-free body!
