ALUMINIUM DUBAI is one of Reed Exhibitions’ aluminium portfolio of events including ALUMINIUM INDIA, ALUMINIUM CHINA and ALUMINIUM in Germany. After its successful launch in 2009, the next edition of ALUMINIUM DUBAI is being organised by Reed Exhibitions Middle East together with the Global Brand Management and is set to take place from the 12th to the 14th April 2011 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.

ALUMINIUM DUBAI’s launching edition was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum – Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister for Finance and Industry and Chairman of Dubai Aluminium Company (DUBAL). It was attended by 165 exhibitors from 23 countries and more than three thousand industry professionals from all over the world with 73% coming from the region. Some of the big names in the industry like EMAL, DUBAL, SMS Metallurgy and Fata Spa supported the said event.

In 2011, ALUMINIUM DUBAI will feature the Middle East and North African region’s dynamic and fast growing role in the global aluminium industry as it highlights investment plans of new smelters and expansions of existing regional market players from the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries.
In addition to this, ALUMINIUM DUBAI 2011 will continue to be an international platform that brings together industry leaders in the world of aluminium. With the continued support of some of the big names in the international arena as well as the major players in the region, ALUMINIUM DUBAI 2011 will welcome companies including aluminium producers, processors and manufacturers of raw materials and end products with aluminium components as well as suppliers of technologies and accessories for aluminium production, processing and refinement.

ALUMINIUM DUBAI 2011 will also gather decision makers from companies operating in the GCC and MENA region that are involved in industries like manufacturing and processing, building and construction, packaging, hardware, automotive and transport, power transmission, factory and machinery production and metal & commodity markets.
