  •  Visit aimed to access medical facilities at the centre


 
A high-ranking delegation of DHA officials visited the DHA Airport Clinic recently to inspect the facilities and services that the centre is providing particularly since Dubai Airport remains to be one of the busiest airports in the world.
 
Dr Mohammad Al Olama, CEO of the Hospital Services Sector at the DHA, Dr. Shawqi Mirhashem Khoori, CEO of Rashid Hospital and Mr. Yousuf Mohammed Ibrahim, Director of Finance and Administration at the Rashid Hospital visited the centre to access the services provided by the centre.
 
Dr Amer Al Zarooni, Director of Airport Medical Centre presented a detailed overview of the services and facilities at the centre to the delegation.
 
He said that more than seventy doctors and nurses equipped with the latest medical equipment are present in buildings I and III of the Dubai International Airport. He also highlighted that the centre is fully equipped to deal with any medical emergencies and has a rapid response plan to tackle emergency medical situations such as patients suffering from cardiac arrests, airplane accidents etc.
 
He also provided the delegation details of the average number of patients who visit the centre on a daily basis as well as other statistical data.
 
Dr Mohammad Al Olama, CEO of the Hospital Services Sector at the DHA said, “ This visit is part of the hospital services sector’s efforts to oversee the functioning of all DHA’s hospitals and health clinics. The airport clinic is an important centre especially since the Dubai airport is a busy airport and has a high volume of travellers. We are pleased with the services the centre provides and are constantly trying to further develop these services for the benefit of the public.”
